What this site collects
The Join form, officer sign-in, and a spam check. Nothing else is collected, and nothing is sold or shared.
Who we are
This site belongs to the RUET Computing Society, a student society at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology. Questions about anything on this page go to ruetcs@gmail.com.
What the Join form collects
When you apply for membership, the form sends what you type into its fields, with the time you submitted. Every field is required unless marked optional.

The Membership & HR Team uses these details to review your application and contact you about it. If you are accepted, they become your membership record.
Officer sign-in
Society officers sign in to the dashboard with a Google account. Google shares the account’s email address, name, and profile picture with Supabase, our sign-in provider, which keeps them in the account record. The site itself uses only the email address, to check whether it belongs to an officer. Changes an officer makes in the dashboard are logged against that address.
Visitors who only read the site or apply to join never sign in, and nothing about their Google account is collected.
The spam check
The Join form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. It runs in your browser while the form is open and looks at technical signals, such as your browser and IP address, to tell a person from a bot. When you submit, the site passes your IP address to Cloudflare to confirm the check. Cloudflare handles that under its own privacy policy, and none of it is stored with your application.
What we do not do
There is no advertising and there are no tracking cookies. Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load, anonymously and without cookies. Reading the site sets no cookies; your browser remembers for the current tab that the opening animation has already played. Signing in to the dashboard sets the cookies that keep an officer signed in.
Nothing you send is sold or shared outside the society. The site is served by Vercel and the data is stored by Supabase, who handle it only to run the site for us.
Who sees it, and your choices
Only society officers with dashboard access can see applications and membership records. We keep them while they are needed to run the society’s membership.
